Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)
Used for decades in pediatric dentistry, Nitrous Oxide, or laughing gas, is a safe and cost efficient sedation technique offered in our office. As both an analgesic (pain reducer) and an anxiolytic ( anxiety reducer), nitrous oxide is our most commonly recommended mild sedation technique. Safe, effective and cost efficient, it allows our doctors to treat our younger patients without any use of local anesthesia for most procedures. No injection = Less tears = Happy patient = Positive experience. A win for all across the board! You can learn about how to prepare your child for their appointment by clicking here.
