Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)

Used for decades in pediatric dentistry to help the anxious patient, Nitrous Oxide, or laughing gas, is a safe and cost efficient sedation technique offered in our office. As both an analgesic (reducing pain threshold) and an anxiolytic (reducing anxiety), nitrous oxide is the most commonly recommended mild sedation technique in our office. Safe, effective and cost efficient, it allows our doctors to treat our younger patients without any use of local anesthesia for most procedures. No injection = Less tears = Happy patient = Positive experience. A win for all & across the board! You can learn about how to prepare your child for their laughing appointment by clicking here.
